"I'm a beginner and have never practiced before. Where should I start?"
Unless specifically suggested as being advanced level, all of our classes are intended to be inclusive to all levels of participation. Your instructor will offer modifications throughout and if you have a specific need, please feel free to reach out to them ahead of time. Additionally, our client concierge can help answer questions about what to expect in each class and offer recommendations based on your treatment goals.
"What makes Repose studio classes unique?"
All of our classes are taught with the intention of increasing your somatic awareness and intelligence. Most classes are led by licensed psychotherapists, dance movement therapists, and creative arts therapists who are also certified yoga teachers.
We teach from a trauma-informed perspective and offer an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcome. We teach classes that are therapeutic on the level of mind, body and spirit.
We work in coordination with your specific mental wellness goals and encourage you to discuss with your therapist which studio classes will support the themes you are working on in therapy.
We are always here to help develop a treatment plan with you so that you get the most out of your membership. You may also wish to sign a release for your therapist and studio instructor to communicate about your goals and progress.
